December 2015 - Tree Planting Event

On Wednesday 9th December 2015, pupils across the school had the opportunity to take part in a Tree Planting Event in St Anne’s Woods. This is part of the One Tree Per Child project that Bristol City Council are running to plant 12,000 trees across Bristol in the coming year.

Pupils from Years 3-6 planted a range of small trees, learned how to protect them and named their tree. It was an excellent experience for all children involved.

In January, children will receive their free apple or pear tree to plant and grow at home.

Throughout the coming years the children will continue to visit the woods and check the progress of their tree’s growth.
