Well done to all the children who read 3 times a week every week of term 4 and earned their reading stars. It is great to see that the number is growing each term! The class with the most reading stars in the school was sycamore yet again!

Whole school homework effort creativity and presentation
The homework was to create something that represented what Wicklea Academy means to us as a pupil. There were lots of brilliant pieces of work from models and plants to posters, poems and photographs. The teachers chose pieces of work that really stood out for their effort and creativity to go on display around the school and even to be entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to @Bristol. Each year group created a video of photos on their blog to show off as many beautiful pieces as they could. Well done to all the children who really capitalised and showed exactly what the school means to them.  The lucky winner was plum in year 4.
