Hello, my name is Mrs Bargery and I joined Wicklea Academy in November 2019. I am a Teaching Assistant currently working in year 6. I previously worked as an LSA at St Anne’s Infant school. I am married with three children. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, going to dance classes, reading and travelling to exciting places.
I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools in the Summer of 2018. Previously, I worked as a Nanny, Nursery LSA and Learning Support for Special Educational Needs.
I am passionate about developing a love of learning in children and promoting good self esteem. I like sharing my love of nature, art and music with the children and bring these subjects into my practice.
Before working in education I was an Art Gallery Manager and Community Events Coordinator in Bristol.
Hello, I am Miss Cornelius and I joined Wicklea Academy in September 2019. Prior to this, I was a student at Liverpool University where in which I studied psychology. I currently work with two children in Year 5. Outside of school, I enjoy seeing my friends and family, travelling, reading and also going to the gym.
I am Mrs Doyle and I joined Wicklea Academy in September 2015. I am a Teaching Assistant in upper key stage Two as well as running the school library every lunch time. Prior to becoming a teaching assistant, I was a Technical Support Analyst for an Insurance Company. During this time, I travelled around the world for 6 months. Visiting new places is still a passion of mine. I now live in Bristol with my husband and two children. I love family time, swimming and walks with my dog in my spare time.
I am Ms Fowler and I have been a teaching assistant for 13 years. I really enjoy my role and especially enjoy teaching children to read. Most of my free time is spent watching and helping to save our native wildlife.
I have always been fascinated by insects and spend a lot of my time studying them. I also enjoy walking in the countryside and gardening.

My name is Mr Houghton. I joined Wicklea Academy in 2018 and work throughout the school. I have 17 years of experience working in education as a Teaching Assistant, Higher Level Teaching Assistant and Teacher. Outside school I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, listening to music and watching and playing rugby and cricket.
I am Mrs Lewis and I'm a Teaching Assistant in Lower Key Stage 2, mainly working with children from Year 3. I have been a Teaching Assistant since 2010. I have lived in Bristol my whole life and I'm married with one daughter. We love going on holiday to America and travelling and seeing different cities. There are still a lot of places I would love to visit. I love photography, going swimming and taking body conditioning classes in my spare time.

I am Miss Pool and I have been at Wicklea Academy since 2014. I work in year 6 and also teach PSHE across the school. Outside of work I enjoy playing netball, going to the gym and seeing friends and family.
I have been working at the school since 2012. Prior to becoming a Teaching Assistant I worked in the Public Sector as a Management Accountant. Outside of school I love gardening, baking and spending quality time with my family and friends.
My name is Miss Williams I have been a teaching assistant since 2015. I currently work with a child in year 6. I have lived in Brislington ,Bristol my whole life and even went to Wicklea Academy myself when it was St Anne’s! Outside of school I enjoy watching rugby with my friends and family. I also enjoy keeping myself fit by going to the gym.
