This week we officially opened our new library to all of the pupils. Every year group had a turn to explore the beautifully presented space and try out some of the books and furniture.
We were also lucky enough to have Hannah Shaw and Darren Simpson come in to share their inspiration and ideas behind some of their published work. They even stayed to sign a few copies at our book fairs as well.
Darren was even kind enough to cut the ribbon to officially open the library with the help of our House Captains.
I know from speaking to the children that they cannot wait to visit the library as much as possible and develop a real love of reading!
